Coffee
She sat bleary-eyed in the kitchen, fingers wrapped around an old mug with a chip in the rim. She wondered for a moment why they still had that mug, why she’d used it despite knowing it was chipped. She took a sip and the thought escaped.
She hadn’t been sleeping well. Between her anxiety over the impending arrival of the androids and her heartbreak over leaving Yamcha, Bulma had had fitful sleeps and strange dreams that left her exhausted in the morning, regardless of what time she went to bed.
She looked up as Vegeta strode in, and judging from the dark circles under his eyes, she guessed he hadn’t been sleeping well either. She’d suspected as much the last few months, when she went to bed and awoke to the hum of the gravity room working tirelessly.
He glanced at her when he entered but said nothing and otherwise paid her no mind as he helped himself to fruit and cereal.
“There’s coffee made,” Bulma told him on a yawn.
the fact that people change their entire wardrobes each year is batshit completely insane to me as someone who grew up too poor for clothes. when we went clothes shopping the general idea was "you will be wearing this for the next 5 years so choose wisely"
